VISIT CAMBODIA PROGRAMME 1413H

Each year a group of Qurban and Aqiqah participants will visit Cambodia and celebrate Eidul Adha with Muslim villagers there. The programme aims to:

• Streghthen the brotherhood between Muslims from Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei with Muslims in Cambodia.

• Provide an alternative Islamic travel for participants.

• Allow participants to be exposed for ways to contribute as an individual or group.

• Let the participants watch the implementation of Korban and Aqiqah themselves.

• Create a platform for participants to personally contribute fidyah and zakat donation straight to the villagers.

• Ticket to Toul Sleng/other tourist attraction places with an entrance fee (normally below USD 7)

• Please bring adequate cash for your stay.

• The Cambodian currency is Riel, but is not available at money changer in Malaysia. Participants is adviced to change the Malaysian Ringgit to USD first.

• Participants is adviced to bring only one luggage.

• There is no safety or travel insurance that can be offered to participants.

Participants are reminded to bring:

1. Your PASSPORT!

2. A travel adapter or enough batteries for handphone and camera. (An adapter is sold in AirAsia flight)

3. A hand sanitizer or wet tissue.

4. Medicine for flu, diarrhea, and other common illness during travel.

5. Small notes in USD- $1, 2, 5, 10,20.

6. $25 for the airport tax during return flight to Malaysia.

7. Money for muzeum visit (normally below USD 7)

8. To buy a travel insurance if needed.

9. Compass for praying direction.

10. Please check in latest by 8.00 am at KLIA and 1.00 pm at LCCT. Please ensure that there is no excess luggage.

11. To gather in front of Marry Brown Restaurant after check in.

12. The time difference is 1 hour. (i.e. 7.00 am in Cambodia is 8.00 am in Malaysia)
